The Future Framework course development process involves two distinct phases. Phase 1 was a draft (concept building) process, involving Expressions of Interest for offering majors. The closing date for those submissions was 30 November 2009.

UWA’s new course structure – hailed as the biggest  academic change in the hundred year history of the University – will come into effect from 2012.

The implementation phase of the course restructure began after the decision of the Senate in December 2008 to approve the recommendations of the Review of Course Structures report: Education for Tomorrow’s World.

The University of Western Australia is calling for expressions of interest from any group of staff members for offering majors in any of the new three-year undergraduate courses.

The courses are Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Design or Bachelor of Science.
