UWA Business School Early career and established researchers alike have been recognised with the announcement of the winners of two sets of awards: the Business School Established Researcher ‘Best Paper' Prizes, and the Ahern Family Early Career Research Portfolio Prizes.
Australian workers' compensation claims for work-related stress have now reached over $200 million per year. The cost to employers in lost productivity is even higher, with some estimates putting the figure at over $14 billion per year.
Yet according to Associate Professor Kerrie Unsworth, from The University of Western Australia Business School, a great deal of work-related stress could be prevented.
The Business School is currently readying itself for the biggest academic changes in UWA's 100-year history. In 2012, we will be introducing a program of new courses that will balance breadth and depth of knowledge to equip our students with a holistic global outlook and provide exposure to different disciplinary approaches.
