The Business School is currently planning many "not to be missed" events for the remainder of the year and into 2009.  These include:

  • Conference of the Australian Institute of Transport Research - December 10 - 12, 2008
  • Breakfast by the Bay with Kunal Basu - February 25, 2009

30th Conference of the Australian Institutes of Transport Research
December 10-12 2008

The annual CAITR conference (Conference of Australian Institutes of Transport Research) being held between 10-12 December 2008, celebrates 30 years in facilitating the exchange of ideas, examples of good practice, and generation of new research in transport related areas.  CAITR is a key annual event for Australian transport researchers, academics and professionals.

This event provides a unique, supportive and informal environment to debate and discuss numerous transport topics.  CAITR is a particularly useful event for presenting projects that are being initiated, are a work in progress, or to receive constructive feedback.  Research students are encouraged to participate.  CAITR also provides a framework for research organisations and groups to present a summary of their research activities.  Each year the conference attracts new participants, keen to become part of this network of expertise, so do not miss this opportunity!
