UWA Hockey Club star and student athlete Pippa Morgan has achieved selection to the Australian U21 squad (Jillaroos), reflecting her stand out performance at the U21 State Championships early this year.

The Jillaroos are set to play a Tri-Series in Canberra in December, coming up against New Zealand and India.

Pippa joins the 18-member squad alongside fellow WA players Sara Foster (UWA Hockey Club), Jolie Sertorio and Karri Somerville who were all part of WA’s U21 bronze medal-winning team.

The team will assemble in Canberra on Saturday 30 November for a training camp before the first match against New Zealand on 3 December.

Following the Tri Series, the players will get back into training in their home States in January before coming together for a national junior camp in February leading up to four matches against the Japanese U21 Women’s Team.
