The team behind the Virtual Medical Doctor (vMD) platform are recruiting researchers and students to join the CSIRO ON Prime course between May to July this year. vMD situates students in a virtual patient consultation and challenges them to apply diagnostic processes through practice-based tasks to understand the role of different clinical information in this process, including history, examination and investigations. Over the course of the CSIRO On program, participants will gain skills in research translation and entrepreneurship by supporting the development of vMD into a widely adopted platform. Participants will be working with vMD inventors Dr Liam O’Connor and HMS Educational Technologist Peter Browne. Further information on the CSIRO ON Prime course is available on their website.
