Former WA Premier Colin Barnett has joined the UWA Public Policy Institute’s (UWA PPI) Advisory Board.

Mr Barnett’s appointment was announced at Tuesday’s PPI public lecture given by Productivity Commissioner Jonathan Coppel: ‘Rising inequality? A stocktake of the evidence’.

Mr Barnett holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) and Master of Economics from UWA.

UWA PPI was established earlier this year to deliver high quality, independent and impartial research and advice related to public policy. Its Advisory Board is chaired by former Foreign Affairs and Defence Minister Stephen Smith.
