The Office of Research Enterprise is hosting a number of seminars aimed at UWA researchers who wish to learn more about the services offered by UWA to help further their research. These seminars are called: Achieving your Research Outcomes and are part of the Research Impact Series.
Achieving Your Research Outcomes is a series of 10 events for UWA researchers, staff and postgraduate students to learn about the processes and functions that can help you achieve your research outcomes.
These separate sessions will run in succession at the Hemsley Learning Suite, Reid Library during Wednesday 17 October and Thursday 18 October.
WEDNESDAY 17 OCTOBER:
. How to publish Open Access for free (University Library)
. How to get the media to notice your research (Government and Corporate Communications)
. Using data to find collaborators with InCites (University Library)
. Promote your research on social media (Digital and Creative Services)
. Creating impact through intellectual property and commercialisation (Research Development and Innovation)
. Have you actually invented something? (Research Development and Innovation)
THURSDAY 18 OCTOBER:
. Show your best self with UWA Profiles (University Library)
. Writing for The Conversation (The Conversation)
. Big data and privacy (Risk and Legal Office)
. Planning for impact (Research Impact and Engagement Office)
Attending these events is free however registration is required via the Research Impact Series website.
