Good morning. Today marks one year since the Change the Course report was released as a result of the Respect. Now. Always. national student survey.

This provides an opportunity to think about safety on campus and stress that sexual assault and harassment is not tolerated in our University. We are committed to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for students and staff.

This week we welcome our first cohort of students from Westa College, a tripartite partnership between Southwest University in China, the University of Tasmania and UWA. This is the first Australian undergraduate joint school approved by China’s Ministry of Education which confirms our commitment to our Sino-Australian relations and providing our future graduates with a global advantage.
