Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Community & Engagement (DVC C&E)

I write to advise that Professor Kent Anderson, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Community and Engagement has elected not to seek an extension to his current term and return to his family in Canberra.

Kent will finish at UWA on 31 December 2018. Kent has said he “is looking forward to recharge and is super excited about exploring an unconventional and innovative direction in his future career.”

The recruitment process for the re-aligned Deputy Vice-Chancellor – Global Partnerships role will commence in the coming weeks.

I would like to thank Kent for his energy over the past four years and we look forward to acknowledging his contribution in the coming months and passing on UWA’s best wishes to Kent for his future endeavours.

Pro Vice-Chancellor, Research

I am also pleased to advise that following a competitive Expression of Interest process for the Pro Vice-Chancellor Research, Professor Tim Colmer has been successful for the role and will commence his six-month term on Monday 6 August.
