The University branch of Save the Children Australia will hold its annual book sale at The University of Western Australia between Friday 17 August and Wednesday 22 August.

Thousands of donated books covering almost every topic imaginable will be available at discounted prices as well as sheet music, recorded music and DVDs. The proceeds will help support children from disadvantaged communities.

The branch is helped by numerous volunteers who work throughout the year to prepare for the book sale including UWA students from the student branch of SCA, Uni Camp for Kids, UWA staff and families, and other casual volunteers.

For those wishing to donate books, these can be dropped off at Goldsworthy Road (on the Agett Road end) at UWA’s Claremont Campus. Look for the Save the Children sign on the verge. This drop off point is open Tuesday to Friday 8am till Midday and Sundays 2pm till 4pm.). Donations close on Thursday 9 August. (Encyclopedias, Readers Digests and National Geographics are not accepted).

For any enquiries phone Save the Children on 9267 3900.
