Experience university life at UWA Open Day, on Sunday 12 August between 10am and 4pm.

Whether you are a school-leaver, a mature-age student, a parent or a teacher, you are invited to visit UWA’s stunning Perth campus next to Matilda Bay, minutes from Perth’s CBD, to explore all that is on offer at the only WA university ranked in the world’s top 100.

Meet UWA staff and students who can answer your questions and provide tailored advice about your study options to get you career ready.

Engaging sessions will be held throughout the day with essential tips to help high school students and their families navigate the journey from high school to university. The sessions will provide helpful information for anyone considering entry to UWA.

The campus will be buzzing with activities, displays and entertainment. Taste Australian bush herbs and spices, try your hand at dental procedures in a realistic virtual environment and plant your own succulent to take home. You can even win a seven-week Ninja UWA Recreate Course by challenging Perth’s very own ninja warriors in the Ninja Zone.

Come along and enjoy a range of food on offer and tunes from the Electronic Music Appreciation Society (EMAS) student DJs.

There will be free rickshaw and tram tours exploring our teaching areas, residential colleges, sporting facilities and landmarks. You can also jump on and off an autonomous bus, experience the driverless technology and participate in research - one of the ways UWA is investigating what a sustainable campus of the future might look like.

Visitors to UWA Open Day are encouraged to help reduce single-use plastics by bringing their own water bottle and refilling it at one of our many water stations available on campus.
