Students enrolled in the Master of Professional Engineering must complete a relevant, discipline-related professional practicum as part of their course requirements.

The primary aim of the work experience practicum is to provide students with valuable and important insights into the work of engineers, to get a feel for working in the industry and to learn how to apply learned theory in practice.

Jayden Kennedy is a Master of Professional Engineering student. In this video Jayden talks about his experience working at Rio Tinto as part of his 12-week professional practicum.
