Are you an early career researcher and want the world to know about your discoveries?

Fresh Science is a national competition designed to help you tell a compelling story about your research to the community and media.

The program takes up-and-coming researchers with no media experience and turns them into spokespeople for science.

Those selected to take part will get a taste of life in the limelight, with a day of media training and public event in WA.  This is a great way to learn how to talk about your research in a compelling, newsworthy way.

Visit the 2018 Fresh Science website for more information on eligibility criteria, nomination requirements, what happens if selected and previous stories.

The Fresh Science Competition 2018 is now open and closes on Tuesday, 24 April.

For more information and a Tip Sheet, please contact Research Development Adviser Michelle Emmett.

UWA is a sponsor of this competition and it’s hosted in WA by the WA Museum.
