This year’s Science Experience was held in January and was a huge success. The event saw 100 high school students from around the state come together to explore science at UWA.

Over three days students met passionate scientists who were eager to share their knowledge of science. They explored how much fun physics can be and what happens when it merges with the field of medicine. They competed in an amazing race and met engineers who find new solutions to contemporary problems. They contemplated the aroma of coffee in a way they never have before, and discovered the history of hydrogeology. Plus, they learnt how to protect our precious environment, uncovered the mysteries of the heart, and watched as chemicals put on a colourful and explosive show!
