Dr Thomas Snelling
Congratulations to Thomas Snelling, Clinical Senior Lecturer at Telethon Kids Institute for being awarded a Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) grant of $3.545 million last week to further his research into cystic fibrosis. This grant is one of 19 projects under the first round of the rare cancers and rare diseases program of the MRFF.
Professor Gary Lee
Congratulations to Professor Gary Lee who was awarded a Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) Next Generation Research Fellowships worth $481,155. Professor Lee is working towards finding ways to stop fluid build-up in the chest from cancer infection.
