Good afternoon. Welcome to a special edition of UWA Forward, the first for 2018, I hope you all had a relaxing break. As we build on last year’s achievements, 2018 promises to be another dynamic and productive year.

A key focus for the Executive this year is developing our strategic vision 2030 and I am pleased to share this positioning paper with you, which precedes the forthcoming Strategic Retreat and further discussion papers for future consultation.

The start of a new year also marks an exciting time for our students, especially those at the beginning of their UWA journey. This week 3130 offers have been sent to school leavers and we look forward to welcoming all students, both new and returning, in the coming weeks.
