Good afternoon. Last week we celebrated the close of the New Century Campaign, an unprecedented campaign raising $410 million from alumni, staff, students, friends and business from across the globe.

We also farewelled outgoing Chancellor Michael Chaney and paid tribute to his immense contribution to UWA over the past 12 years. Hon Robert French, UWA's 15th Chancellor will commence in this role following Senate on Monday next week.

Thank you to everyone who attended Friday’s Town Hall; if you were unable to join us, a video of the presentation is below. It was also wonderful to see so many of you at the Staff Thank You event; it has been a busy year and it is important to take some time out to celebrate together.
