Starting Sunday December 3, Uni IT will introduce a standard IT maintenance window, which going forward, will reoccur on the first Sunday of each month from 5am-11am. Major maintenance and upgrades to IT systems and services will be performed during this window.

This does not mean there will be a full outage to all IT services during this window however, we would like to advise staff to plan activities around the maintenance window if they are able.

The timeslot has been chosen to minimise the impact of planned IT maintenance on staff, and their teaching, research and business activities and will improve the availability of IT services throughout the rest of the month.

information on which services will be affected each month will be communicated ahead of time via existing channels.  Urgent maintenance will continue to be conducted when required.
