The School of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering (EECE) would like to congratulate Shenglong Yu (Samson) and his supervisors Professor Tyrone Fernando and Professor Herbert Iu, for gaining second place in the IEEE Australia Council Postgraduate Student Paper Contest . Samson's paper was titled ' Voltage Control Strategies for Solid Oxide Fuel Cell Energy System Connected to Complex Power Grids Using Dynamic State Estimation and STATCOM '. He also won first place in the same contest in 2015.
This is a significant achievement with international recognition.
