Works have begun on the restoration of Masonic Hall and it is anticipated the project will be completed in February 2018.

Masonic Hall requires work to improve the streetscape amenity and activate the underutilised building. The works will involve restoring the façade and awning including rejuvenation of the deteriorating building conditions.

Once complete, Masonic Hall’s historical features will be restored to their original condition. The project will create an ‘innovation hub’—a space for co-location, innovation and collaboration of UWA graduate entrepreneurs, whilst maintaining the heritage significance of the building.

What you can expect

Preliminary works will include hoarding and fencing of the site.

Throughout the renovation, procedures in regards to working hours, noise and dust will be in place. Footpath access to the area will be restricted throughout the works, and pedestrians will be re-directed.

The University will work to ensure disruptions are kept to a minimum where possible.

If you have questions or concerns during the construction of the project you can contact UWA's Campus Service Manager, Ray Cook on 0437 911 253, or email [email protected].
