Good morning. On Tuesday 1 August findings from Australia’s first comprehensive student survey on sexual assault and harassment will be released as part of the Respect. Now. Always. initiative.

As part of our commitment to creating a safer community, the results will be used to further improve safety management and support services on campus.

This is a shared responsibility and we have been working closely with the Guild to ensure we understand our students’ needs. Through this collaboration a new webpage has been developed outlining support services and what to do if you feel unsafe on campus; this is an initial step of a wider action plan that we will develop once the findings are released. I will update you on this next week.
