A drill rig will be on campus near the Old Pharmacology building (412) to conduct ground cone penetration tests and building footprint tests from 7am to approximately 1pm on Thursday 27 July 2017. The drill rig will be placed along car park 8 and will use a number of car bays during this time (see the attached diagram detailing the area of work).

This site geotechnical investigation is required to obtain data about the soil strata and is related to the proposed School of Indigenous Studies (SIS) development.

Impacts

  • There will be some drilling noise while the tests are being conducted
  • A number of car bays in car park 8 car bays will not be available during this time – please see UWA parking map for optional car parks available.
