EZONE UWA will transform the way we educate our students, undertake our research and engage with our community.

Once complete it will equip Western Australia and the world with engineers, computer scientists and mathematicians who can solve far-ranging problems that arise in multiple disciplines. A revolutionary research, teaching and learning facility, it will combine the talent, technology and equipment required to make a real and lasting difference.

As part of the project site works refurbishment of certain ground floor labs in the Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering (EECE) Building are scheduled to commence in late May 2017 and completed by mid-September 2017.

Site works will be contained around the Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering building (#226) on the Western side of the campus, adjacent to Fairway entrance 2.

The existing lift and the male and female toilets on the ground floor of the EECE Building (#226) will remain accessible and for use by students, staff and site contractors during the work.

Emergency exits and muster points will be generally maintained during the works. The early warning intercommunication system (EWIS) and fire services will be active during the works. Keep an eye out for any notices that might advise any changes to emergency exit paths or muster points.

Changes to footpath thoroughfares:
The pathway on the northern side of the building will not be accessible during the full duration of the works.  Please use an alternative footpath from or to Fairway other than the route to Fairway entrance 2.

Changes to driveway access or deliveries:
There are no changes to driveway access or nearby delivery areas but be aware that site vehicles will generally use Fairway 2 entry which will mean an increase in traffic off Fairway.

Changes to bus stops, taxi or parking:
Bus stops and taxi areas will not be affected. Existing motorcycle parking and visitor parking between [Child Studies Centre]  and Physics building may be affected for a short duration. Keep an eye out for notices on timing.

For any questions, contact Campus Management on 6488 2025 or email [email protected] .

The contract has been awarded to Western Projects.
