The $200 billion investment in Australia’s LNG production capacity over the past decade has put us at the forefront of global supply.

Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) vessel technology is being developed as the next generation for gas projects across our Northern shores in WA and Australia will soon host world’s largest floating LNG facility, Shell’s Prelude FLNG project.

UWA has a team of ocean engineers that have partnered with Shell through Shell-EMI Chair, David White to help develop this new technology.
