The University Hall community proudly raised over $2,500 for The World’s Greatest Shave this year.

Stelio Antonas, University Hall Residential Advisor, decided to run this event for the residential community to show their support for people suffering from blood cancer. Residents could get involved by shaving their head, colouring their hair or by donating to his fundraising page .

Stelia says he organised this event because he believes we can all make a difference in the lives of others in need. It is the simplest gestures in life that make the most significant differences.

“The thing I enjoyed most was seeing the University Hall community getting together to support a good cause,” he says.

Six students shaved their head completely while 30 others coloured their hair. AG Supercuts shaved resident’s heads and even added in some shaved hair artwork - UniHaller Lily was stocked with her new do!

Blood cancer is the third most common cause of cancer, this is just one way the UniHall community hopes to provide practical and financial support for families in need.
