Last week, Water Polo Australia announced that the 2017 Men’s Water Polo World League Intercontinental Tournament will be conducted at the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre, home of the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
The FINA Men’s World League Qualifiers are being played from the 25 – 30 April. 2017 and will attract the world’s best non-European teams including Australia, China, Japan, Kazakhstan, New Zealand and the United States of America.
Travelling to western Australia for preparation before the tournament are Kazakhstan and Japan who will be training at UWA in the lead up to the competition.
