Good morning. It is International Women’s Day and this year’s theme is
Be Bold For Change
. While we should all be proud of what UWA has achieved we must continue to be bold in this area, which is why our participation in Athena SWAN is so important.
Athena SWAN is about more than achieving accreditation. Through our participation we are looking to drive a positive culture change across the University. It is about developing an understanding of what we do well in advancing the careers of women and where we can improve. Your involvement is important to us. I encourage you to watch this
