Our newsletter was distributed to UWA's agent network in December, with information about the new StudyPerth Airport Welcome Desk, new course information and semester 1 applications. If you are a UWA agent and did not receive this email, please contact [email protected]

Introducing the Agent Support Team

UWA has created a new team under Future Students: the Agent Support Team! The five people on the team are here to support you – your recruitment goals, training, enquiries, communications and commission payments. A formal introduction will follow, but if you have any questions email agent support and we will be in touch.

Agent Portal – your one-stop information point at UWA

UWA’s Agent Portal is a ‘one-stop shop’ for agents sending students to UWA. This portal is an online resource to find UWA News and course guides and to order brochures, images, videos and training.

We are still developing the portal and would like to hear from you about what you want to see on this website. If you have any suggestions, please contact agent support .

Perth Airport Welcome Desk

From 11 January to 1 March 2017 international students will be warmly welcomed at Perth Airport with the opening of the StudyPerth Welcome Desk located directly opposite the Arrivals Hall in Terminal 1.

The Welcome Desk will be open from 5am to 9pm and will ensure that new international students feel welcome in Perth. The local and international students who will staff the desk will distribute essential information to assist newly arriving international students during the settling-in period before they attend orientation on campus.

When the Welcome Desk is not in operation, students can still pick up a pack from the Perth Airport Information Desk, located adjacent to the Welcome Desk.

Currency conversion for payments

Please note that unless otherwise specified, UWA will convert any payments to its agents into their local currency when transferring commissions and other payments to foreign bank accounts. Please continue to specify on invoices the amount in AUD and, should you have a need to be paid in another currency (for instance, USD), please specify on your invoice to UWA.
