The Library has a new exhibition of bird illustrations taken from books in our Special Collections currently on display on the Ground Floor of the Reid Library.
The selections feature the beautiful work of Australian artists John & Elizabeth Gould, Frank T. Morris, and G.J. Broinowski, along with English polymath Edward Lear (also famous for writing “The owl and the Pussycat”!). Pages will be turned each week to feature new illustrations so be sure to check the cabinets regularly to see the grandeur of the birds.
