One of the longest surviving choruses in Australia, the UWA Choral Society invite you to celebrate their 85th anniversary by sharing our love and passion for music in a special one-off performance in UWA’s magnificent Winthrop Hall. The concert will include a selection of songs from UWACS traditional repertoire; the music which the society has held most dear. Including favourite choral excerpts from works of Bach and Handel, as well as Mozart’s Requiem , Mendelssohn’s Elijah and Dvorak’s Stabat Mater , the concert promises to be an uplifting and joyous event. S upported by a full orchestra conducted by Christopher van Tuinen and featuring leading Australian soloists Katja Webb and Andrew Foote, this concert is simply not to be missed by any lover of music.
