In day two of play at the FISU World University 3x3 Basketball championships, Team UWA, (representing Australia) have defeated China in their first game of the day, before going down to France in their second.

With competition heating up in all of the pools, day three looks to be a big one!

The team is expecting to finish third in their pool, which would see them play off against Mongolia in a semi-final showdown, determining who will progress through to quarter-finals.

The Australian Women (Monash) have been unable to pull off a win and will most likely not make finals.

Edit: UWA has finished third in their pool as expected and will play off tonight for a spot in the finals.
