Team Australian (comprising of The University of Monash’s Women’s Basketball team and the University of Western Australia men’s baseball team) have met up ahead of the first day of competition at the 2016 FISU World Uni 3 on 3 Basketball Championships!
Both teams have been training hard over the weekend in preparation for their first games Monday. The opening ceremony was held over the weekend, at Huaqiao University – Xiamen – China and gave the Australian teams the first chance to meet some of their competitors.
The guys and girls will be up against eight different countries across the competition, from China and Malaysia to Hungary, France and Lebanon, see who we are up against in the first few days of play below:
Day One Monday 21 November
Men: 5.30pm Australia v Lebanon
Women: 6.10pm Australia v Thailand
Men: 5.50pm Australia v France
Women: Australia v China (Hong Kong)
Day Two Tuesday 22 November
Men: 4pm Australia v China
Women: 4.40pm Australia v China
Men: 7pm Australia v France
Women: 6.30pm Australia v Hungary
