Changeover work on the Crawley campus electricity substation has been completed successfully. The work will provide a safe and stable power supply to our campus buildings and was necessary because the old substation presented a risk to the campus power supply as it was nearing the end of its service life.

To maintain a stable power supply to the campus, the substation changeover project was initiated and coordinated in several stages from the new substation design, to construction and delivery.

Thank you to all UWA staff and students for your cooperation and patience while these essential infrastructure works were undertaken.
