Between 16,000 and 18,000 people made the most of the sunny weather and enjoyed Open Day at The University of Western Australia.

The beautiful Crawley campus came alive with hundreds of interactive displays, demonstrations, concerts, food and family activities.

UWA’s faculties and schools showcased their strengths in teaching, learning and research while in the Future Students Hub Marquee, prospective students were able to learn about courses and careers, direct pathways and early offers, study abroad opportunities and scholarships.

Activities such as surgery simulators, drawing classes, a mock trial and daytime astronomy viewing attracted plenty of interest.

Open Day also provided fun for the whole family, with face-painting, rides and petting zoos for kids, as well as live music and scenic tram rides.
