To celebrate its Centenary, The Faculty of Education is hosting two competitions as part of UWA Open Day. In recognition of teachers and the work they do we are asking primary and secondary schools in Western Australia to tell us what they think the world would be like without teachers.

We also reflect on the past, present and future by inviting Faculty alumni, students, staff to share a photo that of their time at the Faculty. These photos will be pinned up on our display board during Open Day.
Details on how to enter these competitions are as follows:

PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS COMPETITION - What would the world be like without teachers?

The Faculty of Education at UWA invites all Western Australian schools to participate in our Open Day competition.  In celebration of the Faculty's Centenary we are asking schools to discuss with their students and gather their thoughts on what they think the world would be like without teachers. Responses will read by our panel comprising of our Dean, Centenary Ambassadors, students and staff representatives.  The winner will be announced on 16th August 2016.

The school with the best response will receive $200 to spend at Dymocks or Book Depository.

How to enter:
Responses are to be no longer than one A4 page and is to include the name of the school and contact information. Responses are to be sent to one of the following by 12 August 2016:

REMEMBERING OUR PAST AND PRESENT

We are inviting all UWA education alumni, current students and staff to send a photo of their time at the Faculty either as a student, teacher and/or staff member.  Photos can be of Faculty events you have participated in, classes, practicum, social events etc. Photos received will be pinned up to the Faculty Open Day display board as a montage.  The winner will be drawn on Open Day and receive a choice between a $100 ITunes or Googleplay voucher.

How to enter:
Digital photos must be approximately 100 dpi and minimum of 2MB in size. Please include your full name, details of the photo (ie. when it was taken and of what), contact number and email it to:

Printed photos are to include your full name, details of the photo, contact number and is to be mailed to:
