Planned network maintenance at the UWA Institutional Data Centre (IDC) will occur this Saturday 9th and 10th July. A core piece of equipment was damaged when lightning struck the IDC in April, and needs to be replaced.  With the majority of students on semester break, conducting maintenance at this time will minimise the impact to the University.

Maintenance will begin at 7pm on Saturday and be completed Sunday morning. No outages are expected however BI&TS is working closely with Faculty IT Managers across campus should any issues arise.

If an outage occurs to business critical systems BI&TS will ensure the appropriate staff are informed.
