The Reid Library Ground Floor Refurbishment Project has reached a significant milestone, and we are on schedule to re-open the ground floor for Semester 2, 2016. From Monday 25th July to Sunday 31st July 2016, the Reid Library will be closed, in order to put the finishing touches on the new space and rearrange services within the library.

Although the building will be closed, we will be offering the following:

  • A daily request and retrieval service to ensure collections continue to be accessible. This will include items from the Library’s Special Collections.
  • Postgraduate students currently using the Reid postgraduate space will be provided with access to the postgraduate space in the Barry J Marshall (formerly Science) Library.
  • High Demand items can be requested by e-mail and will be made available for collection in the Law Library.
  • Inter-Library Loan (ILL) services will continue as normal with collection from other UWA libraries.

Other campus libraries will be open and operating as usual, with intersemester opening hours .

We would like to thank the UWA community for their patience throughout this project.

Watch this space for an announcement regarding the opening of the new ground floor, coming soon.
