Dear Colleagues

I wish to advise that Professor Alan Dench has resigned from the Office of DVCR and has been appointed Pro Vice-Chancellor (Humanities) at Curtin University. He will commence his new role on 1 August 2016.

I want to take this opportunity to thank Alan for his contribution to UWA over the last three decades. As Dean of the Graduate Research School for the previous six years he did an outstanding job in providing national leadership in this area. While a loss to UWA, this is a wonderful opportunity for Alan and I’m sure you’ll join me in wishing him all the very best.
