The School of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering’s Professor Tyrone Fernando was commended for Teaching Excellence – Individual Teaching at this year’s Teaching and Learning Awards Ceremony held at The University Club on Monday 30 May 2016.
The School of EECE would like to join the Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics in congratulating all of the recipients of this year’s Teaching and Learning Awards.
The 2016 award winners, which were announced at the Ceremony, are:
Award for Teaching Excellence - Individual Teaching
Dr Miccal Matthews – School of Mathematics and Statistics
Commendation for Teaching Excellence - Individual Teaching
Professor Tyrone Fernando – School of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering
Dr Nicole Jones – Civil, Environmental and Mining Engineering
Award for Teaching Excellence – Research Supervision
Professor Mohammed Bennamoun – School of Computer Science and Software Engineering
Certificates were also presented to new FASE Members and Fellows.
Congratulations were given to all the winners and new FASE members and Fellows for their outstanding contributions and for going above and beyond, to inspire, support and educate.
