This September we will be showcasing some of the fantastic research taking place at UWA through Research Week 2016. With over 50 events on offer over the course of the week, from seminars to exhibitions, there is something for every interest.
The face of Research Week this year is Professor David Blair, whose team played an important role in the recent discovery of gravitational waves. In a special event on Monday 5 September , Professor Blair and Professor Hyung Mok Lee of Seoul National University and UWA Institute of Advanced Studies Visiting Fellow will discuss the century long quest to detect Einstein’s gravitational waves and their subsequent discovery in 2015.
