The entire Reid Library will be closed during a power shutdown on Saturday 14 May, from 6.30 am to 5 pm (normal opening hours will resume after this time).
This shutdown is required for contractors to perform necessary switchovers to power supply which will serve the ground-floor refurbishment at the Reid Library.
Important information from BI&TS
The works involved are not expected to cause any interruption to IT services as an alternative power source is being provided while the power shutdown occurs. Please be assured that BI&TS engineers will be monitoring the computer network closely throughout this period.
However, while these critical works are taking place, there is a risk that the following services may be impacted:
- Incoming and outgoing phone service
- Voicemail Service
- VoIP Phone Service
