The refurbishment of Hackett Hall has earned a nomination in the City of Subiaco 2016 Heritage Conservation and Sustainable Building Awards.

The project is nominated in the Additions and Alterations to a Heritage Place category – recognising works that enhance and harmonise with a heritage building without replicating the original style to ensure old works can be distinguished from new works.

Campus Management coordinated the design and implementation of the project with UWA’s Centre for Education Futures and lead consultants SCHIN Architects, NS Projects and head contractor Western Projects, transforming the eastern wing of Hackett hall into collaborative, open and vibrant spaces for teaching, learning and staff accommodation.
The award winners will be announced in May.
