Prof. Barry Marshall and Prof. Bruce Robinson visited Indonesia last week to share insights about cancer and edible vaccines

The UWA professors held productive meetings with Professor Muhammad Nasir, Minister for Research, Technology and Higher Education, Ms Nila Moeloek, Minister for Health and Professor Amin Soebandrio from the Eijkman Institute, as well as participating in interactive forums and industry briefings.

During their visit to the Eijkman Institute (Jakarta) on the 14th March, Prof. Barry Marshall and Prof. Bruce Robinson presented guest lectures. The Cytoplasm Auditorium was packed with scientists, all very enthusiastic to meet and interact with UWA’s high profile researchers. Prof. Marshall's lecture topic was "The exciting journey of research that led to Nobel Prize and the latest developments in research". Prof. Robinson's lecture topic was "The recent breakthroughs in cancer therapy using immune attack strategies to destroy cancer".
