Pilates has landed! UWA Group fitness is now offering Pilates, and it seems members and the community alike can’t get enough of new offering!

Pilates provides a safe, fun and relaxing way of strengthening your back and core, increasing your flexibility and preventing recurrent pain and injuries. Other benefits of Pilates include muscle toning, improved posture, flexibility, balance, coordination, management of chronic pain and improved sporting performance.

Classes for Semester1 are at 7am Monday and 12pm Friday, with our amazing UWA fitness guru Kelly Castlemain. Involving a series of mat based exercises Kelly will guide you through exercises to strengthen both body and mind.

UWA Sports members have full access to Pilates classes, and non-members can now sign up for a 7 week Recreate Pilates course (starting 29 April.)
