Following the receipt of 2 nominations for 1 Level A – B position on the Academic Staff Consultative Committee, a ballot is now required. The ballot will be open from 8.00 am Wednesday, 6 April 2016 to 5.00 pm on Thursday 14 April 2016. (Due to the IT outage this will be extended till Noon 18 April 2016)
Members of Academic Staff are asked to access the ballot through the Employee Self Service (ESS) by logging in at http://www.hr.uwa.edu.au/ess and then clicking on the “University Ballot" option on the menu.
There will be a link on the website to a brief statement of all the nominees, identifying their relevant work history and/or interest in the committee. Staff are asked to carefully consider their vote and proceed with the ballot according to instructions on the website.
Elections will be based on a "first past the post system": the nominee who attracts the most votes in the ballot shall be declared the elected staff representatives.
The successful nominee will be notified within a week of the close of the ballot, followed by an announcement in UWA Forward advising the outcome of the election.
