Kate Fitzsimons is used to wearing the green and gold and representing Australia including last weekend’s World University Cross Country Championship, and helped the women’s team to place 4th out of 9 countries.
Held in Cassino, Italy, Kate and her team of 4 other female competitors completed the 6.2km course in less than 25 minutes with two of her teammates placing in the top 10 finishers. The team’s final placing of 4th was an improvement on 5th at the Championship in Uganda 2 years ago, where Kate was also selected to represent
