Are you travelling to the UWA Crawley campus on Friday 11 March 2016? If so, you will need to plan ahead as there will be road closures for the 2016 Gran Fondo World Series Time Trial cycling event.

Mounts Bay Road (travelling west) and Hackett Drive (both directions) will be closed from 9.30am to 3pm.

Access restrictions on the day of the event will include:
From 9.30am – 3pm

  • Mounts Bay Road (travelling west) - closed - UPATED INOFRMATION: Vehicles will not be able to park along Hackett Drive from 6am Friday 11 March
  • Hackett Drive (between Mounts Bay Road and Australia II Drive) - closed
  • Car Park 23 (corner of Mounts Bay Road and Hackett Drive) - closed - UPDATED INFORMATION: Vehicles may enter the car park prior to 9:30am, however will not be able to exit the car park between 9:30am - 3:00pm
  • Hackett Drive entries 1, 2 and 3 - closed
  • Access to Car Parks 1 to 6 (via internal ring roads only) use main UWA entrance at Winthrop Avenue
  • Access to Car Parks 8 to 9 - limited. Vehicles can exit at Hackett Drive Entry 4 (at the Australia II Drive and Hackett Drive roundabout).
  • Public transport disruptions. To keep up to date with bus service route diversions visit transperth.wa.gov.au

On the day of the event, visitors to campus are urged to follow directional signage and instructions from traffic management personnel.
