How to Enter

The UWA Library “Like or comment to win” competition prize draw runs from 22nd February to 22nd March 2016. All the 'likes' and ‘comments’ on Facebook posts published during the competition prize draw period before the closing time will be included in the prize draw. The winners will be drawn at random by the Associate University Librarian (Research & Learning Support) under the independent supervision of an Assistant Library Manager.

The following terms and conditions apply:

1. Participation in the Promotion by ‘liking’ or ‘commenting’ on posts published on the UWA Library Facebook page between 22nd February and 22nd March 2016 is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. By entering this contest, entrants agree to a complete release of Facebook from any or all liability in connection with this contest.
3. The prize draw is open to all qualifying entrants who like the UWA Library Facebook competition post between 22nd February and 22nd March 2016 (both dates inclusive). No purchase is necessary.
4. The following persons are eligible to participate in the promotion:

a)      Current students at the University of Western Australia who are also current residents of Western Australia.

The following persons are not eligible to participate in the promotion:

b) All management, employees, contractors and other staff of UWA Library (the “Promoter”) and UWA, and the immediate family members of management, employees, contractors and other staff of the Promoter.

c) Residents outside of Western Australia.

1. One (1) winner will win the grand prize of a hamper to the value of $150.
2. The prize will be drawn at random from eligible entrants on Wednesday 23rd March 2016 and the winner will be notified via private message on Facebook together with details of how to redeem the prize.
3. The prize must be taken as offered. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash. The prize is not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
4. By entering the prize draw, the winner consents to their name being published as winner of the prize draw and to participate in any publicity accompanying or resulting from this promotion in printed and/or online formats.
5. If the Prize is not claimed within 7 days of the prize draw, the relevant winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter will conduct an unclaimed Prize draw. Should an unclaimed Prize draw be necessary, the winner of the unclaimed Prize draw will be notified via private message on Facebook.

   2. UWA Library will not be responsible for any entries that are not received for any reason, by the closing date and time, whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions.
