On Monday 1 February the University Club Restaurant reopened its doors for the year after an extensive refurbishment.

The refurbishment works were undertaken and delivered on schedule by Campus Management over the Christmas holiday break.

A centralised island bar has completely opened up the space, allowing diners a glimpse of the beautiful Swan River.  The décor is fresh and contemporary and offers a mix of both casual and more formal dining spaces.  This sense of elegant casual dining has been carried through into the menu which boasts a selection of informal meals, shared plate items in addition to a full a la carte menu.  The Lounge Bar of old now features a swanky new cocktail bar offering cocktails, an extensive whisky list, premium wines by the glass and an espresso machine for those who prefer to sip on a coffee over their tapas.

To add to the ambience live musical entertainment will feature over the weekend.  Popular Jazz Musician Catherine Summers and her friends will provide an upbeat Summer Groove on Friday nights while Saturdays will be a little more understated  with a  live acoustic guitarist providing relaxed background music.

Re-opening special: Members who book and dine with a table of four in the Club Restaurant throughout February will be treated to a complimentary bottle of Vasse Felix red or white wine to help the Club toast the new restaurant.

Bookings can be made through the University Club Reception on 6488 8770.
