The free event which will take place from 5.30pm at Whitfield Court on the UWA Crawley campus will feature a feast of music and songs from some of Australia’s most accomplished musicians and UWA’s best performers – both teachers and students. Members of the public and UWA staff and students are invited to pack a picnic and bring the whole family.
The concert line-up includes pianist Caroline Badnall, mezzo-soprano Sarah-Janet Brittenden, Fletcher Cox (trumpet), baritone Andrew Foote, Rebecca Glorie (violin), Alan Lourens (euphonium), soprano Sara Macliver, Ashley Smith (clarinet) and the UWA Vocal Consort. The concert will also mark the performance debut of UWA’s new staff choir.
The concert will finish at 7.30pm, in plenty of time for those who wish to attend the film at the Somerville outdoor theatre.
